Individuals were followed up in person or by phone at 28 times and at 3 months by trained local personnel who were unaware of the group assignments. Individuals who did not receive the designated treatment or who did not adhere to the process were followed up in full, and their data had been included in the analyses according to the intention-to-treat principle. Outcome Measures The principal outcome measure was the proportion of participants with an unhealthy outcome, thought as death or main disability.
